"Welcome! We truly appreciate the trust you've placed in us to care for your beloved pet. Our goal is to create a nurturing and memorable experience for both you and your furry family member; every time you visit.
Please review our Policies. We believe it's essential for every great relationship to begin with openness and a shared understanding. Our bond with each pet is incredibly important to us, and we look forward to being a part of your pet's life journey!"
**Terms and Policies:**
1. As a courtesy, we send a reminder text 48 hours before your grooming session. However, if you do not receive this reminder, you are still responsible for attending your scheduled appointment and for any fees incurred due to missed appointments.
2. We prioritize your pet's safety! Please inform us of any known or suspected medical conditions and any behavioral changes—odd or aggressive—before leaving your dog in our care.
3. At the time of drop-off, you may be asked to sign a release form. Please be aware that elderly, aggressive, or medically challenged pets may require additional care and attention, which could result in extra charges for grooming services.
4. If you're new to our salon, have any health concerns for your dog, or are changing their trim, please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment for a brief consultation.
5. Late arrivals may need to reschedule. Arrivals over 10 minutes late will incur a $15 fee, and those over 20 minutes late may not be accommodated and will be considered a "no-show". After two late-arrival or no-shows, clients may be required to prepay for future services.
6. If you need to reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to efficiently fill last-minute vacancies and avoids charging you a late-notice cancellation fee.
7. Unfortunately, illness happens here too. If we need to cancel or move your appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled session due to staff illness, we will offer you a small financial gesture towards your next visit. *We will not exceed the capabilities of our attending staff when shorthanded, but instead, we will continue to prioritize the health and safety of all pets by rearranging the schedule accordingly.
8. Missed appointments ("no-shows") will incur a $30 fee. After two no-shows or late-arrivals, clients may be required to prepay for future services.
9. All miscellaneous fees, such as "no-show" or "late-arrival" fees, are due prior to continuing services.
10. We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet parent showing signs of aggression. While we routinely handle aggressive dogs, we require respectful behavior from all clients. Unreasonable behavior, including but not limited to intimidation/intensity or profanity directed towards our staff will result in future service refusal.
11. Constructive feedback and valid concerns are always appreciated, but it's essential that our communication stays mutually respectful. Our Shag To Chic policy clearly emphasizes that staff are expected to uphold strict ethical standards and a strong sense of moral responsibility. We are committed to sharing our knowledge and expertise while embodying humility and a spirit of openness and honesty at all times.
"We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with these policies. They play a crucial role in us fostering a safe and positive environment for our canine/feline clients, their pet parents, and our dedicated staff.
Thank you once again for supporting our small business. We look forward to each visit and to pampering your beloved pets !"
Sincerely,
Rhonda
