Shag to Chic specializes not only in show trims, but working with pets with mild to severe medical issues, physical limitations and those who have severe behavior challenges or experienced trauma in their lives. Our team of pet grooming stylists is led by owner, Rhonda Tonn. She has dedicated her career to both the grooming industry and the veterinary medical industry for over 2 decades. Spending nearly a decade working at a mixed animal practice has brought extensive exposure and shared medical and behavioral knowledge to the entire team. We work as a team to ensure your dog or cat not only receives superior styling and care, but also work as your team of professionals to create a situation that will set your pet up for a lifetime of health and grooming success. All pet grooming sessions begin with a thorough consult where the specifics of your desired trim are discussed as well as any limitations your pet's health, coat type, condition and his/her tolerance may have on the desired outcome as well. We must be collectively understanding there may be times when we are unable to meet an expectation due to behavior, tolerance, stamina, coat condition, health concerns and other limitations that arise working with all animals.
